Chiropractors in Various States Across the Country

Posted under Uncategorized by admin on Saturday 6 March 2010

Chiropractors are basically licensed physicians or doctors of Chiropractic, who follow a certain healthcare discipline that involves the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system, which greatly affect the general health of a person. In Chiropractic, it is believed that a misaligned spinal cord can result in the improper working of the nervous system and in turn causing a series of health problems that influence the general well-being of a person.

A holistic approach is adopted by Chiropractors to cure their patents wherein a non-surgical and drug-free treatment is applied after the chiropractor has analyzed certain aspects of a patient’s lifestyle, which include diet, exercise, heredity problems and the environment. Chiropractors like other doctors may require conducting routine examinations such as X-rays, laboratory tests and diagnostic images to help determine the root cause of a problem, but their basic focus is on manual therapy.

Since the body has the power to regulate its functions as well as heal itself, it is important that the body be healthy to support all its functions. If the nervous system along with the brain and spinal cord do not function well or have some kind of a disorder, it is apparent that the body will malfunction causing grave health hazards. Manually aligning the spine or making use of natural therapies that include heat, light, massage, water, acupuncture, ultrasound etc to correct the biometrics of the spine are ways in which Chiropractors treat patients.

Chiropractors may practice as a group or work individually to offer their services to people. It is not difficult to locate practicing chiropractors, as one can locate a number of them online through the World Wide Web. A list of Chiropractors that we have gathered for you here for your convenience include the Milwaukee Chiropractor and Chiropractic Care that consists of a trained team of Chiropractors who offer a proper health care plan and ways in which one can prevent illnesses without medication.

The Costa Mesa Chiropractor service is available in California and offers Chiropractic treatment for problematic muscles and bones. Similarly the Nashville Chiropractor in Tennessee is another great Chiropractic service that treats problems relating to joints and muscles and aches and pains in the knees, back, shoulders, neck and the wrist. The Columbus Chiropractor in Ohio, Fort Worth Chiropractor in Texas and Fort Lauderdale Chiropractor in Florida are other well-known Chiropractic care centers that provide holistic healing to patients.

All these Chiropractors are highly trained in their job and hold a proper qualifying degree and have a license to carry out their practice. Chiropractic treatment has proved to produce positive results and eased the patient of discomfort and improved general body functions. The progress is continually monitored and follow-up treatments are administered as per requirement of the patient’s health condition. Counseling, rehabilitation and nutrition planning also form a part of the therapy.

What is a good skin care routine for a young teenager?

Posted under Skin Care Routines by admin on Tuesday 9 March 2010

I’m 13 years old and I live in Australia. I have combination skin and get minor blackheads, whiteheads and blemishes around and on my nose. Sometimes I might get them on my chin or forehead. I need a good skin care routine that has three steps (cleanse, tone, moisturise) that is gentle and won’t burn or irritate my skin. Can you help? Please list names of products and brands. No homemade remedies or recipes, just products I can purchase at Coles or Priceline. Thanks.

kk, first of all i might mention that you really only need a toner if your skin needs an extra clean or is oily which you do but usually a cleanser does the job. I have the same skin as you and this is what i use: i have two cleansers, at night i use Benzac AC wash, at frst that will burn and make your skin peel but mine soon got used to so if you want stay away from it, its about $15 and you can get it at any chemist or priceline. The morning cleanser i use and i stand by it for our skin its Formula 10.0.6 cleanser and its so gentle and makes your skin less oily right away. i dont own a toner myself but id try formula 10.0.6 aswell for that. for my moisturiser im currently using cliniques stuff so its abit pricey but i used to use Olay Complete Defence Moisturiser, which is great for sensitive skin and if your just starting out plus it has spf.

Now the other stuff i use i swear has helped clear me up and its St Ives Blackhead and Blemish Control, it will help remove your blackheads, use it every three nights. Another i use after i use the blackhead control is a mudmask, i use Formula 10.0.6 mudmask in the orange container and im soon going to use the one in the green and its for oily skin, its so good and really removes imputities. i also use a spot treatment from formula 10.0.6

Just thought id mention Formla 10.0.6 is really cheap too and its good cause it works, its at priceline. ill get links up for all products ive mentioned.

Whats the best skin care?

Posted under Cosmetics Skin Care by admin on Sunday 7 March 2010

I want to buy some good skin care, preferably a cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Iv tried most of the cheap products (simple, Loreal e.t.c…) and iv tried the clinique moisturizers but nothing seems to do much difference.

I have combination, very fair skin and I used to have acne so im left with some scarring.

So any recommendations for products?

Im thinking about buying virgin vie..

I would advise you to use the Vitamin E range from the Bodyshop. It is suitable for all types of skin. If you go in store they will do a skin test for you and advise you of what sort of products you should use according to your skin type. You need to use a good cleanser to get rid of dirt from your skin and remove makeup etc and a toner to firm your face and stop dirt from getting back into your pores, a daily moisturiser and a night moisturiser to replenish your skin while you are asleep. Oh I almost forgot to mention that it will also benefit you to use a facial scrub or exfoliator twice a week to drw out any impurities.
You may also be using the wrong type of makeup for your skin.
I would recommend Benefit Bo-oing industrial strength concealer to cover up your acne scarring, this product is brilliant and lasts for ages!
Good luck :) xo

Anti-Aging Drug?-Mayo Clinic

Posted under Facial Anti Aging by admin on Saturday 6 March 2010

Wouldn’t it be great to take a supplement that can slow the effects of aging? There is one on the market, and you can buy it at most health food stores. It’s called dehydroepiandrosterone — DHEA for short. And some say it can help your body feel younger and function better. Does it work? A study from Mayo Clinic has the answer.
